The academic life of HeadG Online School UK is dynamic, fun and exciting as we try to keep pace with the mass of curiosity and enthusiasm of the young minds, we teach in today's world.
Expectations for the students work and behaviour are high but at HeadG Online School UK but we believe learning must also be fun, and our dedicated and talented team of staff ensure that every child has the best start to their online school journey.
Our Pre-Prep program, which consists of our Year 1 and Year 2, enjoy an engaging, topic-based curriculum that is enhanced by specialist teaching methods. For children in the Prep, which ranges from Year 3 to Year 6, the fully balanced curriculum focuses on providing intellectual challenge and prepares the children for the future demands of their Senior School education.
Progress and Reporting
With the pace at which young children grow and develop it is essential that their progress is closely monitored and that clear and open communication exists between school and families.
Every academic year starts with an online Parent Information Evening. During the course of the evening families hear from the Head of Junior School who outlines the ambitions for the school year ahead, followed by time with class teachers who provide an overview of the expected learning outcomes for a child’s new year group.
School reports form an important written record of progress and grade progress reports are sent at every half term and full reports at the end of the Christmas and Summer Terms.
Learning Development
The Junior School offers excellent learning development support for all children ranging from general leaning skills through to one-to-one lessons with expert teachers. Children joining the school who have
English as a second language are also well supported to ensure good progress is made and to minimize any impact on the online classroom learning.

Pre-Prep
CURRICULUM
The Pre-Prep is comprised of Year 1 and Year 2 and is a positive, exciting and creative place to learn. The naturally inquisitive nature of children at this age is encouraged through the imaginative topic-based curriculum and a broad range of subjects. The children in these classes follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and work towards the seven Early Learning Goals (Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Communication and Language, Physical Development, Literacy, Mathematics, Expressive Arts and Design, and Understanding the World).
Prep
CURRICULUM
The children from Year 3 to Year 6 receive vital foundations for study in a stimulating, positive and purposeful learning environment.
These learning skills, combined with a curriculum focused on intellectual challenge, ensures children are well prepared for their next step into the Senior School.
Whilst the National Curriculum is followed, the freedom to offer breadth is fully embraced. Teaching of core subjects is expanded to
support progression, with spelling and Math's taught in sets from Year 4.
Next step.
Senior School
As the student reaches the end of their Junior school experience, we hope they have enjoyed achieved everything they and thier parents expected too at the start of this journey, however, a clear process is in place to support the transition to the Senior School. This would be the idea situation as the students are confrontable with the setup of the programs we use, Parents and children are both well supported through the process with early planning and clear communication shared between class teachers, admissions and families. We will do all the hard work and organize everything needed to make it a smooth and present experience. As children move in to Year 5, parents are provided with a very clear understanding of the options that are most suitable for their child. At HeadG Online School UK securing a place is not guaranteed, however first registration goes to the students who have come though Junior school program. One of the many benefits of the Junior School, Senior School is that we use the same platform to conduct our lessons so the transaction between the two are limited.
